Kloster Maulbronn

Burg Stolpen

Stolpen Castle is built on top of a rock in the centre of the town and has been a dominant feature in the history of Saxony since 1100, with the current castle constructed from around 1218. It has been used as a residence for the Bishops of Meissen, and for the ruling members of the region. Augustus II the Strong imprisoned his mistress Countess Costel here. Parts of the castle fell into disrepair and were demolished in the 18th century. Napoleonic troops occupied part of it on their retreat from Russia in 1813. Since the 19th century it has been carefully looked after, and today welcomes 140,000 visitors a year to see the museum exhibitions and remains.

Bastei

The Bastei is a rocky prominence overlooking the Elbe River within the Elbe Sandstone Mountains in Germany. As a mountain of 305 meters height the Bastei surpasses the river by 194 meters. The landmark was formed by water erosion over one million years ago. Located near Rathen in Saxon Switzerland the Bastei is a landmark in a national park near Pirna southeast of Dresden. It is part of a climbing and hiking area that extends to the Czech Republic as Bohemian Switzerland.
The Bastei has been a tourist attraction for over 200 years. In 1824 a wooden bridge was constructed to link several rocks for the visitors. This bridge was replaced in 1851 by the present Bastei Bridge made from sandstone. The rock formations and vistas have inspired artists, among them Caspar David Friedrich

Dresden

Dresden (German pronunciation: [dʁeːsdᵊn]) (German: Dresden, Czech: Drážďany, Upper Sorbian: Drježdźany, Polish: Drezno) is the capital city of the Free State of Saxony in Germany. It is situated in a valley on the River Elbe, near the Czech border. The Dresden conurbation is part of the Saxon Triangle metropolitan area.
Dresden has a long history as the capital and royal residence for the Electors and Kings of Saxony, who for centuries furnished the city with cultural and artistic splendour. The city was known as the Jewel Box, because of its baroque and rococo city center. Eleven square kilometers of the city center was completely destroyed by the controversial Allied aerial bombing towards the end of World War II. The impact of the bombing and 40 years of urban development during the East German socialist era have considerably changed the face of the city.
Some restoration work has helped to reconstruct parts of the historic inner city, including the Katholische Hofkirche, the Semper Oper and the Dresdner Frauenkirche. Since the German reunification in 1990, Dresden has regained importance as one of the cultural, educational, political and economic centres of Germany.
The Elbe Valley of Dresden was an internationally recognised site of cultural significance by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee for five years. After being placed on the list of endangered World Heritage Sites in 2006, the city had its status as world heritage site formally removed in June 2009, for the wilful breach of the UNESCO World Heritage Convention, due to the construction of a highway bridge across the valley within 2 km of the historic centre. It thereby became the first location ever in Europe to lose this status, and the second ever in the world.

Criticas:
I found Pension Am Kirschberg through Dresden website.
Pension's website is only in German but I decided to try writing e-mail in english anyway. I was happy to get answer in English few minutes later - I booked one tripple room and one double with extra bed.
Pension is a family run b&b located just 10 minutes drive by car from the center, in a family houses area. We arrived by car and didn't have any problems getting there (there are directions from the highway). It's also easy and fast to get to the center.
Around the house there's garden full of flowers, trees and different kind of animals - from ducks and chick to rabbits and cats. I bet kids would love it!
When we arrived, we were greeted by Mrs Brauer who didn't speak good English but it wasn't a problem - she showed us around, showed rooms, in half English half German asked us when we want breakfast. She was very friendly and helpful!
Rooms are everything you need during a stay. We were staying only for 2 days but I could easily spent there 2 months! Everything was on place - huuuge wardrobe, comfortable beds, big table and chairs. Room and bathroom were very spacious. We felt like home. Everything was very clean. There wasn't simply ANYTHING bad to find about the place! :D
Should also mention that the breakfast was delicious, with fresh bread, good coffee and tea. Maybe a bit too small for hungry people but I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem to ask for more!
Loved this place and I'm sure I will come back there again!

Alte Kapelle

Tradition has it that the collegiate church of “Our Dear Lady of the Old Chapel” dates from Roman times. In the 18th century the Romanesque basilica was magnificently rebuilt in the Bavarian rococo style. Of special interest is the new organ which was dedicated by Pope Benedict XVI in 2006 during his visit to Regensburg. This instrument is the only organ which has ever been blessed by the Pope in person.

Regensburg's finger-sized sausages have been grilled over beechwood and dished up with sauerkraut and sweet grainy mustard in this spot since 1135, purportedly making it the world's oldest sausage kitchen.
Salsichas grelhadas
Críticas:
A escolha limita-se ao numero de salsichas por prato, mas a autenticidade é imbatível.
Nosso menu:

For hot, crisp-skinned tuhe steaks with sauerkraut and homemade mustard, try the Historische Wurstküche (see photo), which traces its roots back to the 12th Century and has been in the hands of its current owners since 1806. Platters come with six, eight, or ten small grilled sausages on a bed of kraut; if you're at all hungry, hold up all your fingers and say "Zehn, bitte." The Historic Sausage Kitchen is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., so you can have brats and beer for breakfast.
