We came here on our first night having been recommended by a friend and ended up eating here twice more over the the four days we were in Barcelona, each time at a different branch (our favourite was the one on the Plaza del Pi). The tapas are great quality and we ate huge amounts for very reasonable prices. Loved the chick peas and spinach and the prawns from Palamos. The place was packed at all times which added the buzz and altough we had to queue in the evening it didn't take long and we enjoyed a drink at the Bar. The best tapas place around - the other tapas joints nearby were not nearly as popular and all looked like imitations of this one. Don't miss it if you are planning a trip to Barcelona!

we visited this restaurant in 2008 and were very impressed with the quality ofthe food and the pleasant and helpfull service and that it was easy to make a choice from the menu which was in english as well as Spanish or Catalan
however we have just returned from a few days in Barcelona and were horrified to find that the quality of the food and especially the service had declined considerably the staff were completely disinterested in us as customers and we just felt like were items on a conveyer belt
last year we ate here three times
we will not be back
they have to remember the customer is the most important thing
