Gostei de aqui ficar. Casal jovem, ela inglesa ele espanhol, em busca de um sonho ecológico. Simpatia ao mais alto nível, respeito pela terra e pelos seus produtos, um toque pessoal em tudo. Pequeno almoço caseiro, com várias castas de azeite para apreciadores. O quarto era acanhado masmuito limpo. Gostei.

After some pretty intensive partying in Granada, Cordoba and Sevilla, we were craving some peace and quiet in rural surroundings. We'd found La Posada de Alajar through their own well-maintained website and it looked like the right place with the added bonus that the small village of Alajar boasted some very good restaurants. Hosts Lucy and Angel were delightful, helpful, well-informed and considerate hosts. We felt like we were staying in a family home rather than an anonymous hotel (but our privacy was always respected). We would recommend La Posada de Alajar to anyone who wants to get off the well-worn Andalucian tourist track and experience a side of Spain that not too many people appear yet to know about. Yes, the rooms are small but so what ? A bed is for sleeping in and the room was spotless. We'll be back!

Staying at the Posada for three nights was the perfect way to start our 2 week holiday in Andalucia. The guest rooms, common areas, and dining room are clean, comfortable and full of character. We received a warm welcome from our hosts Lucy & Angel, as if they had known us for years, and we really appreciated their tips on where to hike in the area as well as ideas & advice for the rest of our time in Andalucia. The food was another highlight - from the yummy homemade jam and locally baked bread, to the olive-oil tasting from Angel's personal collection, to the two delicious evening meals that we enjoyed at the Posada, the food was amongst the best we had in Andalucia. We have already recommended the Posada to our friends and would certainly go back if we are in Andalucia again.
